Archie loves his ball :)

Archie has a small milo soccer ball, he loves to chase it


it's getting kind of old & worn (it's missing a panel), but that just gives him a better grip :)

He got some new toys today, including a ball......I'm sure there will be photos in due course :)

Archie loves bones, cuddles and outside but he doesn't love bug bites!

On Thursday Archie ran to the backdoor, crying loudly. We let him inside; he shook his head lots, crying. His ear was sore and he wasn't happy. Christopher and Mum calmed him. Mum worked out that it was a bite and gave him things for it. He was very tried the rest of the day and his ear is much better now. It was so scary at first, because we didn't know what was wrong. Poor little guy.

Archie goes fishing

OK, so the last few weeks have been really hot here and Archie wasn't doing so good while the nights were hot but when the nights got cooler and Archie spent more time outside behind the couch, where it's cool, he started to get back to normal.
Haven't posted for a little while so it's time for some photos!

First some photos from a windy day, I think these were taken before the heat wave and by Amy;



Then one evening while we were watering the peach tree, Archie decided to play in the water and get all muddy;


When he runs around the yard his fur picks up lots of seeds;


Lastly, he like to play in the pot, under the peach, that we use to water the tree. He moves the water with his paw and tries to catch little bits;




Isn't he cute?

getting dirty can only mean one thing....a bath!

Archie had some fun getting dirty in the garden last night;

but it came at a slight cost to the plants





Then he did some other exploring. At one stage he found an ant and kept trying to pick it up..needless to say it wasn't a complete success.





By the end of it all, he was pretty filthy, so he got a bath! it turns out he's all fur.





Oh, and Archie got a new collar. the other one was actually a cat collar, but the clip kept undoing so he got a proper dog collar.

Archibald

His full name is Archibald but we call him Archie.
He arrived on Wednesday the 21st and is a moodle/maltipoo (maltese cross poodle). He's very sweet and cute. We love him very much.
We are also going to train him unlike we did with our sweet Ozzie (who is no longer with us).
